My new HDD not showing up in windows

Hi, i recently just got a Seagate 5900rpm 1tb drive. The first time i didnt show up was because i forgot to plug in the power connector, DOH!

But now it is hooked up and speedfan shows it but windows dosent seem to "see" it. any suggestions?

Start> type create and format> hit enter > format the drive and assign a letter

Go to computer management , then disk management, then right click the drive there and enable it

Since you are using window 7. Go to start menu, search for administrative tools -> open computer management -> click on disk management on the side then, you should see the new HDD you added needs to be formatted and set partition.

When i right click it the options i have are

1)convert to dynamic disk
2) convert to gpt disk
3)offline
4)properties
5)help

you need to create a new dynamic disk then create a new simple partition then formatt! hope it helps!
