Tech station/workbench options.

post #1 of 24
Thread Starter
Hi everyone. I'm looking for a tech station/workbench because I like the idea of easy installation and easy swapping of parts. I have a Silverstone PS05b which was pretty awesome IMO for the price I got it for, but I'm looking for something that's easier to do everything overall with because I'm sort of lazy tongue.gif

I've been doing a bit of searching and although there are some options I am considering, I am looking for the following criteria:

1. Under 100 dollars. The lower the better.
2. Not acrylic.
3. Durable/sturdy.
4. Basic options are the only things I need. I don't plan on running multiple hard drives, multiple GPUs, and I plan on running standard ATX sized PSUs with standard motherboard sizes (mATX/ATX, but MAYBE mini-ITX although not likely)

So far I only have my eye on the HSPC Tech Station which is 79 bucks, but I've heard that Case Labs is selling some for around 100 bucks, but I've seen no documentation/price listing for it, just word of it.

The lian li looks perfect! Thanks.

Hi MA;

The Lian Li is not bad for the price. Be ready to replace the screws as they need to be replaced as they strip easily. The bottom fan placement is nice as it is filtered. The use of front USBs I dont understand as they are never used. Most time you will be using the USB on the MB.

It is a competetive price and it does get you out of ghetto rigging when configuring boards for installation in cases. Overall, a nice purchase.

I have the Banchetto 101 which I got from an OCN member.
I like the idea of being able to access my parts without having to dismantle a few million parts.
Out of all the tech stations, I find the Banchetto the most appealing
