Blurry graphics in this game?

Not sure if it's the gpus problem, but in the duke nukem forever demo with post special effects off it looks fine, but with it on it's horrid and blurry. Is that setting supposed to do that? When i first saw all the blur I just thought the game lacked any sort of AF.

That's just the Film Grain and Post Processing/Depth of field filters, it's a rather ugly implementation of it in this game. More specifically, the blurriness is Depth of Field, which is a post processing effect. The Film Grain filter makes it look significantly worse.

Aw really, that's a shame, really expected more out of this game visually. Oh well maybe they'll put some fine touches on it before launch because there's something wrong with this picture if it stays looking like this on launch :/

yeah, this release may be mostly for testing purposes. I think you should report this issue if you really want the game to succeed.

DNF went gold over a month ago, it's release date is June 14th in the US, and June 10th internationally. This is a demo, not an alpha/beta.

Regardless, I specifically told him what the issue is, meaning it's a design choice via a Depth of Field post processing effect filter, not a bug or glitch. And it looks significantly worse due to the Film Grain filter.

Actually, the second screen shot in my first post doesn't have film grain on, only post processing.

I know, but if you turn it on Depth of Field will look even worse is what I meant.
