Confused about RS360...

Thread Starter
Ok, so at first from reading other people's posts, it seemed that high rpm fans were the essentials for the rad.
But, upon trying to research just a bit more, I'm finding links saying that low rpm fans are what you want for the rad.
I was going to go for http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=27143
But, of course, now I'm not sure...
Or should I just go for this instead? http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=26718
I plan to be doing a push/pull config, so I'll be using 6 fans on the RS360 rad in a HAF X case.
I do plan to buy a fan controller, as well. Probably this one. http://www.frozencpu.com/products/12..._HOT_ITEM.html

Most radiators on the market will perform well even with fans spinning 500-1000RPM; naturally if you turn the speed up, you'll dissipate heat more effectively, but some thicker radiators will do a better job at higher speeds, and some at lower speeds.

Alright, kind of makes sense.
So, for the RS360 rad, would you say I should use high speed fans or medium?
Out of the two I showed in the links, of course.

Are you running gpu's in the loop too or just the cpu? As you're going push pull I'd say go with the medium 1650 rpms, the high speed 2200rpm just seems like it will be unreasonably loud to me. Of course if you're definitely getting the fan controller then get the fast ones and you can just turn them down.

Right now I'm only planning to do a CPU loop, as this is my first WC set up.
And ya, I do plan to buy a fan controller for sure. I'm not in the mood for a jet engine running in my room. Haha

RS series rads have normal density FPI, around 14 iirc. Medium speed fans would do good, 1500rpm-2000rpm.
