[Eng] Steve Jobs talks iCloud, iOS 5, OS X Lion and more at WWDC - Page 6

Streaming music doesn't need fast speed. I see people using Pandora on non 3g phones all the time.

Anyways, they just announced notification aggregation, and its the same swipe the top bar down, only they organize it in such a stupid way, categorizing instead of chronological order, and iMorons go crazy for it.

I just got a little interested. Correct me if I'm wrong, but they just said basically any music you have in your personal collection will be counted as being purchased on itunes, so you can use the cloud service more easily. That's actually pretty cool.

Edit: nvm it costs money...

Categorized is better, especially with many notifications, and as long as it's sorted chronologically in each category.

KISS Method - Keep it simple stupid

the "cloud" is going to be a term that won't go away, it's a way of explaining to the technological retarded what offsite storage is. It's a marketing term. Considering apple is pretty late (dropbox, amazon, ect) to the game I will bet their followers will eat this right up.

Err, iCloud is a fair bit different than DropBox and what Amazon offer.

Lots of tech guys dont like the "cloud" movement. It has some pros, probably most in the small business area, but it has major cons. I maybe going out on a limb here but to me seems like we are taking 20 steps back to the terminal days.

I can't wait for this to be released, now I wonder how Google will compete further with them in terms of features and design.

It's a little disheartening to see a significant portion of iOS5's "innovation" take the form of ports of android features. I had higher hopes.
