Voltages for 4 GHz CPU and 3 GHz NB - Page 2

ok never mind while testing the 1.5 vCore my temps started climbing out of control after about 15 mins or so. So nother question what is the usual voltage requirement for 3 GHz NB with 4 sticks of RAM?

Ref Clock: 250
CPU Multi: x16
NB Multi: x12
RAM: 1333 MHz (7-7-7-17)

CPU Voltage: 1.45v (1.40 to 1.45 is perfect) keep it under 55c if you can
CPU/NB Voltage: 1.3v (1.3 to 1.45) same as cpu. 55c and under max is 62c
NB Voltage: 1.4v(1.25) dont need it up that high.

Any tips for stability? Right now my comp locks up during p95 tests.

CPU: 1100T
MoBo: ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 (890 GX)

Thanks in advance!
i did some changes. hope that helps. let me know if its stable. what cooler are you using and whats the temps like on load and idle?

Thanks I think I've got it stable. Not sure about 24/7, not that patient right now but 3.9 GHz CPU with 3 GHz NB vCore: 1.45, CPU/NB v: 1.45. 30 idle, 55-60 Load. I guess I just won't be able to hit it till I invest in water oh well thx everyone rep+

Hey,

I think that the best thing to do is to disable the 2 cores on your 1100T so only 4 are active because this would reduce the tempatures on your CPU which should help you overclock further.

Try (250FSB) and the CPU at 4000MHz and the Northbridge 3000MHz

Increaseing the FSB around 250 can help with your OC so you don't just use the unlocked multi.

CPU VCCore @ 1.45V
CPU-NB @ 1.37V
NB @ 1.25V

I hope this helps
