I dont understand why clarity would be reduced on the 900s... arent the drivers the same?

The RX900's are more bass oriented than the 700's, if you want something that sounds like Beats go for those.

Since you're going for more expensive cans have you looked at Audio-Technica M50's or Shure 840's? Both should spank Beats, especially for the price. If you want even more bass look at some 750DJ's.

Meh M50's cost $200 in Canada, i'm looking at a max $150, and I already ordered the 900's.

M50's are great headphones and can be had for very cheap, if you price match at a guitar center (idk if they have those in canada), or if you look around enough. I got my pair for ~108 USD, and my friend got his for $90. They as well as the shures are great headphones.

Just a question, I currently have an auzentech X-Raider 7.1, would it be worth it to upgrade all 4 OPAMPS?
