[Joystiq]Call of Duty Elite Q&A: We ask Activision to clear up some of the confusion - Page 4

Quote:
"Yes, you get all the content," Berger says. "We're not holding anything back. When we say it's all-inclusive, we really mean that. There are no gotchas there, with another DLC pack that we're going to ask you to buy outside of the Elite membership. If you're a member, you get everything."
P2P Servers aside, gamers everywhere need to take this quote with a shaker full of salt; unless you've forgotten how Dedicated Servers weren't announced pulled from MW2 until 1 month before launch?

I love how this forum still like CoD. Virtually every other PC gaming forum has moved on from CoD years ago.

Ahaha, anyone who buys MW3 for PC should get FedEx'd a kick in the head.

Don't support this company of clowns. They think of there pockets not the Gamer..

BF3 will be something special, mark my words. BF2 was Legendary and I still play it online..

The only reason I'll get this game is because I know so many people that play it. If there's no dedicated servers, I'm gonna get it for PS3 so it won't be a hackfest. Getting it for PC just means you'll get wallhacked all day.

On-topic: It is ridiculously to charge a monthly fee for COD, its the principal of just try to squeeze the money out of people is what irritates me.

What's free in Call of Duty Elite?
"The whole Career section," Berger tells me. "All of your stats, the personalized leadersboards, the heatmaps, the weapon stats, the ability to import your Facebook friends ... personal best, ability to compare, etc." This section bears the most resemblance to other offerings in the space, notably Bungie.net, as many of you mentioned. And like the core Bungie.net service, this section of Elite will remain free, including new features that are added to it.
Those are all the things you can do in MW2&BO, plus more.

You obviously did not read the article.

So if BF3 has the same thing you wouldn't pay for it?

You don't have to get it! You are not loosing anything if you don't get it, and its not to play the game it's for extras. That just shows me how you didn't read the article.

Again read the article...They are getting everything in the game. The sub. is for extras. And really how is this being greedy? It will probably be around $5/month. Come on now.

Bungie did the same thing. Why warn't you guys bashing them? OH wait most of you are probably BF3 fanboys. So what if BF3 did this? What would you do? I'm sure you would pay for it. Stop bashing Activision for doing something, just because you don't like them.
