OK i get the whole drilling thing, but does anyone sell single LED's to attach to the mobo somewhere so it shines into the block? Not drilling a hole in it but shining into it.

Not that I know of. Maybe some clear double-sided stickytape an a flexible LED strip?

I see them all the time but sadly can't find a link to one right now.

Edit: TLDR if you want customized bling like this you're gonna have to look into getting some tools out.

Some blocks have holes for LED's in them, like my motherboard block.

I believe Koolance was doing that a with their 480 blocks, they still might be doing it, they just had 5mm holes in the blocks sides so you could put LED's in if you wished.

I thought the Acrylic EK Supreme HF's had holes in them too for LED's...

It's mainly a manufacturer choice to do it, but yes, you COULD drill holes, I wouldn't recommend it, if you do, standard LED size if you buy them from a PC mod site (some of them have molex connectors) are 5mm or 3mm, it is usually stated in the name.

Hope this helps,

-f.

Could you maybe use prestick to stick LED's between the GPU and the motherboard, so it kinda gives off a glowing effect from underneath/the side of the GPU.

bits is making blocks with holes for leds, but those blocks are crap when it comes to cooling (compared to other fullcover blocks from other vendors) and i do not know if there are any 69x0 blocks from them in stores

Take some LEDs and put them onto the acrylic cover of the water block. Then make sure you put appropriate resistors onto them, and if your daring enough, drill LED mount holes into it NOT TOO DEEP and shove the leds into the holes. This is how mhy res is made, it has pre drilled LED holes in it for me to mount leds into.
