Liquid metal tims are not advised though unless there are no cracks in the heat sink's surface (ie. the hyper 212+'s cracks). If you can lap the cracks away though, a liquid metal tim is the absolute best.

I also would go for the shin-etsu...its on my wishlist, but I'm too lazy to get it. I heard its at the very least 2-5c better than AS5.

which ever is cheapest, since they are both G-751 they are the correct kind. I'd personally go with the newegg site so as not to deal with international shipping.

Just wanted to point out the Shin-Etsu that was in the 1055T graph someone posted earlier is this stuff: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/89...ound_-_1g.html

I really don't know what the difference is but looking at the graph it was less than 1* off from the liquid metal, if anyone wants to point out the difference between the G-751 and x28-7783D.
