CPU + Dual GPU Loop...

Thread Starter
My friend is looking at making his first custom water cooling system. Unfortunately, I am not the most knowledgeable when it comes to the subject, which is why I need your help. He is looking for a system to cool an i5-760 and 2x 6950 2GB's. What would be a good bang for the buck solution, with minimal mods within an Antec 902 case?

I just asked this, same thing. I was told 170 bucks for a good one. You can read through the thread, called Mod my H50 or go full water custom.

thnks man

EDIT: But my friend's case is different and he also needs to cool an extra gpu... So overall, the loop would actually look fairly different...

Well the 900 and the 300 are fairly simmilar cases, but i guess yea it would be a little different with 2 gpus.

If they're reference 6950s, it would be a good idea to grab full cover water blocks such as these:
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/12...ign_Cards.html

And probably pick up an XPSC RS360 kit:
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/12..._Kit-_HOT.html

Maybe some extra tubing and fittings, etc. But I'd think that's a good bang for your buck solution to your issue.

If he doesn't have reference 6950s, check out these:

and these, to keep the VRMs cool:

I'm not the most knowledgeable about water cooling, but I've been recommended things like this. I'm not sure about mixing the elements (Nickel and Acrylic?) in a loop, so I'll leave that up to other people. There are multiple versions of most of these products in different elements, so keep that in mind.

Best of luck! Hope this helps.
