Edit: I'm a moron and didn't realize I hadn't assigned the drive yet. Disregard.

Hey everyone, just put my new rig together today and had a question. In addition to the SSD I have, my 1TB WD Black I was going to use for storage is not usable in the OS. When I unplug/plug it in, W7 will acknowledge it was plugged in, but not allow me to use it--or even have it show up in my computer, as if it didn't exist. The BIOS also acknowledges that the drive is there, and I can't figure out why for the life of me the OS does not.

Sorry if that is a bit vague, but it just doesn't make any sense.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
