Big Comfy Headset!

Thread Starter
I been using the Razer Megalondon I got for my birthday long ago.
All I can say is that is really comfy and does it job, but I want more now.

Recently been planning to upgrade to something with better.

Is for 80% Gaming and 20% Music, since I have a 2.1 speaker but sometimes I want to listen to music at night.

I dont need a mic.

Willing to spend around $150~.

So far been eyeing on the "Audio Technia ATH-AD700"

Since I'm using it for gaming and want surround sound.
(Mostly FPS)
Would it be better for me to pick up a sound card as well?

Any suggestion of other headset and comments is greatly appericated!

PC350 would be pretty good. Closed headphones would be the best for gaming but slightly worse for music.

Also better for lans if you do any of that since you won't have a lot of sound leaking through.

Instantly comes to mind with word comfy. But pretty much only for those bassheads.

HE SAID HE'S INTO GAMING 80% DOUBLE U TEE..?

AD700s are fine, if you want bass look at the Ultrasone Pro 550s. They're good for gaming and $150 so music will sound better overall as well.

Thanks for all the suggestion guys.

New plan.

I actually want SOME bass instead of NONE.
Too much review saying AD700 having NO bass at all.

Looking at HD555 or A700
