It should be noted that I said 'down the road', Feb 2011 = few months... other users and I have found that the average failure rate comes at 6-11 months if taken beyond the limits, though it can happen instantly if way too much voltage is used

TBH you can lower the voltage a little and still run a higher clock speed.. If I'm not mistaken you can go up to 3.4sih without messing with the voltage maybe 3.5.

I am 200 X 19.5= 3.9 1.448V
NB=1.14v
X12 on the nb=2400.

When i push the processor beyond this i usually add a touch more voltage which is done by using the num pad +/- right at 1.45. The nb i leave the same for the small bump. I lose stability around 4.3GHz but I'm sure the cpu's can go higher but like these guys are saying might not on this board.. But 3.2 to 3.9 is doable, I'll let you know if I have any issues down the road, at least i'd get to have a new mobo!

Prime for a little while, for checking temps and such I use cpuid.

alight cool, now that i've set my ram to 1600 9-9-9-24 I think I'll bring the cpu down to 3.5 ghz and test for a couple hours (no change in voltage)

sound good?

I'm not the prime95 guru, I might set it for an hour to monitor temps.. I'm a gamer and cpuid shows me that the games I play are never going to make my cpu hot.
