BIOS CPU VCore Vs. CPU-Z Core Voltage

Thread Starter
I have a EVGA X58 SLI Micro motherboard with a i7 920 CPU.

I've set the CPU VCore in the BIOS to 1.23125, but when I load up Windows and check the Core Voltage under CPU-Z I'm seeing voltage as high as 1.270 under load. Is this normal?

Also, I noticed that under EVGA E-LEET that my VCORE was set to 1.25000, even though I set it to 1.23125 in the BIOS.

I think this might be a BIOS bug, but I'm not sure.

I have VDroop off.

I always go by the bios Vcore regardless of what other programs say.

i usually trust cpu-z more than the bios, as some boards do have horrible vdroop.
my Q6600 is 1.44v in bios and yet cpu-z shows it as 1.39v.
also coretemp and realtemp show the same vcore as cpu-z

but you are having it the opposite, your vcore is higher in cpu-z.
is there a bios update?
also have you turned off the usual speedstep, C1E etc...
