It wasen't stable at 4.4GHz @ 1.65V+ The highest Iv'e been was 2.0V but it never posted, 4.2GHz @ 1.55V is easy though,

It's much better when you disable some of the CPU cores too

Never seen the temps because it was a suicide run, around 40C Idle think though :O

try lowering your voltage just a bit, try 1.39 or 1.38.
my 1090T is stable @ 1.375000V
You should re seat your h70... my temps only reach 58 cpu and 49 core... @1.45v 4.2ghz with 12hrs prime 95

Okay, I actually got the H70.

Anyway my temps improved a lot.
But I guess they are still high from what I saw the last post.

4.0 @ 1.41v im getting ~63ºC half hour into the Prime95 Test. (Maybe I could try a lower voltage but still... that's not the problem I guess)

Atm I have them installed as Push/pull intake from the back on a phantom. (seems quite wierd, but i read somewhere that it was working for that guy).

Basically i have this:
2x 200MM at top as exhaust
1x 140MM at front as intake
2x 120MM at front/side as intake
and the 2x120MM as intake in a push/pull configuration from the H70 on the back.

- Should I try to change the H70 to exhaust? (I'd have too much exhaust for the intake I'd have right? 2x 120 and 2x200 vs 2x120 and 1x140)

- Should I try everything as intake and the H70 as exhaust? (To create pressure inside the case)

What's your thoughts guys? In order to improve the temps.

Im not stable at 4.0GHz I usually idle with stock clocks at around 25-30c and in the 55-60c range at Prime95 64bit.

I have this cooler: http://www.coolermaster.com/product....tegory_id=3566

It's always a good idea to exhaust hot air and intake cool air.

For a reference, I have a 1090T running 4.02 GHz now with an EK Supreme LT water block and an RX-240 with two 80CFM fans on top (3/8 tubing).

In a 71f room running PRIME95 or BOINC tasks 24/7, my highest temps according to Core Temp is 41c. I wonder about Core Temp as it shows TJMax at 90c and I thought it was supposed to be lower than that... but, I haven't had time to look into it.

How come that 100€ Corsair H70, is performing the same as sub 50 euro old NH-U12P SE2 (Stock noctua fans)? Im getting 58-59c in Prime95 after many hours at 1.45v 4.1Ghz (tho 1.42v seems to be completely stable in every benchmark aswell after many hours of tweaking ).

It's not nearly as improved as it could be. That's why I am still asking for options.
