it may help your CPU temps a bit, but i cant say for sure.
try it out and see if you notice any thermal differences

After seeing 61C, and haearing you say max temp for my cpu is 62C, i hit stop (not sure if im supposed to push it further and see what happens??). My GPU runs at about 70C when im gaming, I don't think thats actually that bad, I just think my temps overall should be lower, especially the CPU. But I have ofc overclocked it to 3.8GHz so that also affects it.. But do you think thats normal that the CPU went up to 61C that quickly when running prime95?

Yes, it's perfectly normal for the temp to spike quickly like that. Keep in mind that you will never hit load in a real world situation. If you had left it running, I don't think you would have seen temps past 65*C, but you are definitely at the limit. I would put the rig back in the air conditioned room or back off the clocks a little if you keep it in your room.
You can always upgrade the CPU cooler. The 965 is a hot chip, and that Zalman might not be able to keep up like some more modern coolers can.

Alright, I'll have a go at it soon, the only thing is I am not sure if i have any space to connect another fan haha. I'll let you know what happens. Perhaps I'm worrying too much. I played some dirt 3 for about half an hour, my CPU was 53C, my GPU moving around 62-70C. I just want to achieve the lowest temps possible by getting the best airflow

Edit: Added another top exhaust, cpu temp when gaming dropped to between 50-52C (1-3C drop). I'm using all 7 fans right now I guess this is my ideal setup, I'll have to wait till the weather cools down to get lower temps, that's what my conclusion is hehe. Thanks guys!
