If your hearts set on a 570, your best bet for performance, is to get a non reference design!
In that case, you should get the MSI GTX570 with the TF-III
MSI does an excellent job of overbuilding there non reference cards!

For your motherboard, really, stick to the Asus board, you won't regret it!

That Corsair PSU is a good choice!
For Memory, just find some DDR3-1600, that runs on 1.5 volts
Don't read to much into the timings, you will notice nothing in the way of speed!

MX-4...Big thumbs up!

If you can, You should look at getting a Thermalright VenomousX Black! One of the best cpu coolers on the market!
Well, as for the GPU, I would really prefer to see the performance of the 570 if I don't plan on upgrading in the next like 2+ years. I used this to reference the two cards: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/330?vs=306

Though I have to say, the price is damned nice for the performance. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-565-_-Product)

I'm thinking I may take the plunge with the MSI board , but not 100% yet.

I also think I will stick with the bronze v2 cooler at the behest of the review. An extra $20 is worth avoiding a steaming pile of melting plastic and metal.

EDIT: I'll mostly be using this for BFBC2 (and games that are less taxing on the system that it), so it is important that I can maintain a high framerate. It seems like the 570 has more OC potential also (correct me if I'm wrong)?

This is an even better PSU:
PC Power and Cooling Silencer Mk II 750W High Performance 80PLUS

& the VenomousX is a better cpu cooler!
Just my 2 cents

I do hope you go with the Asus board, instead of the MSI board, but it's up to you.
Good luck!

I understand that it should be a better PSU (esp. b/c of the silver rating) but I'd like to keep the PSU down in price.

Is it worth the extra $25 over the 212+?

well to be honest, your choices are fine!
I always go for the best parts I can get.
Which is why I recommend the PC p&c, & the VenomousX

But your choices will be just fine!

I would honestly go with a better mobo as other have said Asus P8P67 pro is awesome even though my regular P8p67 is serving me just fine.

I dont know about others but the thermal paste included with my 212+ is still very good, 2500k OC to 4.5ghz and after 24 hours of prime 95 temps dont rise above 48C. In fact if I had to I wouldnt bother buying that AS and just slap another coolermaster 120mm fan on your 212+

A lot of people are biased towards ASUS for MBs, but ill fully vouch for MSI. I have nothing but good things to say about my X58 X-Power. MSI has really stepped up there game in the last couple of years, accept for the issues with the AM3 MBs. Someone told me that MSI has a different design team for AMD/Intel Motherboards..and that the Intel boards where built better.
