Whoops guess I missed that... anyway xd_1771 knows what hes talkin bout. In my opinion its just fine to save some money and get a top of the line board from last year or what have you.

Are there any suitable motherboards <$100 for the 955? I'm trying to keep the costs as low as possible. I just need a basic board with no bell and whistles.
