if the RAM gives errors, is either bad or the BIOS settings are not optimal
I used A-DATA, Super Talent, G.Skill Pi-Series, OCZ Platinum and Wintec.

Corsair was the first memory supplier I used when I started really building PC's but I ventured away to G.Skill and then Mushkin. I am now running a set of 8GB (2x4GB) Corsair Vengeance sticks and I must say, I am not impressed. With my current rig I cannot even manually set the timings to stock on these sticks. If I do, my computer will not boot. I have to use the auto settings in order to boot. This would be an issue if I was running a 200MHz bus rather than 240MHz as I would have to use the DDR3 1600 multiplier and on auto, that bumps the timings to 11-11-11-24. Since I run a 240MHz bus with the DDR3 1333 multiplier, auto picks up the timings at 9-9-9-24.

This very well could be an issue with my board but I am going back to Mushkin and just picked up a 8GB (2x4GB) Ridgeback kit at 8-9-8-24 timings on the egg for $100 including tax and free shipping.

darklink, what BIOS version are you using? You are unable to get memory working except on auto?
(I have the same board, I could help)
