anywhere to find windows vista?

i have my product key but lost my disk and everytime i try to download a copy of it its a hacked version where the key is bypassed any one know where i can down load an oem version of vista thanks.

Replacement of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Software Media

If you have OEM software, the Certificate of Authenticity (COA) has the PC Manufacturer's name listed under the software version name. For more information about COA, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

If you have System Builder software, the COA will list the name "OEM Software" or "OEM Product" under the software version name.

Try that, microsoft will send you a disc if you have proof of purchase.

If you can't wait for that, As long as you have a legit key, it doesn't matter what disc you use so long as it's the proper version, ;ie, if you borrow a friends disc but use your legitimate key with it

Downloading from pirating sites is not allowed to be openly discussed here. However, just like Yumyums said, you may be able to recover it from Microsoft.

He's got an OEM Windows Vista, most probably MS Support is going to ask him to contact his OEM for a replacement disk.

@Thread Starter: It's actually possible to use that PK of your with a retail Windows Vista key. Skip typing in the key when installing first and then when you get to the desktop, go to the system properties window and use the "change product key" option that is beside the PID. That usually works. Although there are time you have to use phone activation at some point.

Borrow it from a friend and copy it. Its legal they even advise it in Microsofts forums. Otherwise write to ms customer support they will send you another one.
