New Folder, needing a bit of help

post #1 of 4
Thread Starter
So, I've installed v7 of FAH client on my sigrig, and have set up the smp portion. However, I want to make good use of this big ol' GPU It's an Asus Ares, essentially a 5870x2, but I'm not sure how to set up the client so that it efficiently uses all that power.
I tried setting it up as two separate gpu's, but gpu-z was telling me that it was only running at about 30% load. I figured maybe it just needed to warm up, so I left and came back. My monitor had started showing artifacts all over the place, and then the whole system crashed
Any help would be much appreciated, and if I need to give any more info, just ask and I'll post it.

Is your graphics card overclocked?

Crashing = unstable.

I know some people have had issues with AMD cards at stock settings crashing and artificating. Only thing I can really suggest is to try different drivers.
