Yate Loons + Rheosmart Fan Controller = Happy Camper

I just bought this combination(fans are high speed yates from petra's), and I have to say I am immensely impressed. I went from having load temps for my water cooled gpu in the 60's to in the 40's. Now, I am able to comfortably oc my hardware without having to worry about temps. Plus, the fans are not nearly as loud as I thought they would be and the rheosmart is the best fan controller i've ever owned.

And the best part, this upgrade only cost me around $90 shipped for 6 fans + the controller. To anyone looking for a good fan controller and/or set of water cooling fans, I highly recommend this combination.

Shipping from petra's was quite expensive, around $17 for usps. But, if your just looking at prices for the parts alone, it was only $70. Also, it wasn't $90+, it was $90 shipped.

Long and short of it is, Yate loons from petra's are awesome, and the rheosmart is the best fan controller i've ever used.

Any other online stores you know where I can buy some Yates? Also, are there many sizes available? Thanks good sir.

I'm actually debating buying this controller and pairing it with a few YL's, which fans were you using previously? Were you previously using a controller? Have you had any problems with the knobs on the Rheosmart? Like many, I tend to take Newegg's reviews with a grain of salt, but sometimes the reviewers post valid 'Cons'.

buy from petra's yates quality is variable and 4 fans for 20 + shipping isn't bad at all

I want that Rheosmart so bad, my little 4 channel Sunbeam controller is nice but I want the sleek sexy PWM ability as well.

Yates are fantastic bang for buck, and I can't say enough positive about the rheosmart controllers and PWM in general....

I had yate-loon medium speed fans (2200rpm) on my rig, but had to try panaflo fans for all of the positive feedback they've had over the years (literally decades of positive feedback). The rheosmart has no problem controlling them keeping my rig quiet and cool when not gaming, and loud and proud when gaming

What radiator do you have and specifically which fans were they, if you don't mind answering?

I was previously using enermax t.b. silence fans without a controller. As far as the knobs, the knob on the far right sticks a little bit, but it is still fully functional, and because I use the pwm feature, I won't be using it very often any ways. But it is an excellent product, the best fan controller i've ever used, and I've used many.

Btw, the 2200rpm fans are the high speeds models, which I have.

And to cool my cpu + gpu, I'm using an rs360 + rs240 radiators. The fans I was using before were enermax t.b. silence fans. The difference is amazing, with a slight bump in noise level on the fan controller. Haven't tested the fans at full speed yet.
