Getting PhysX to work, GTS450 HD5770

So heres the deal, I just got my PNY GTS450 for an amazing deal from a friend. I play a lot of Metro 2033 and my Quad Crossfire board was going to waste so I decided to use if for a PhysX card.

I am having some issues getting it to work, I am currently on 11.5 for my ATI driver. As far as Nvidia goes I am on the 275 driver set. I have the 1.04ff crack for PhysX, at the very end of the program it says nothing to steal with two money signs. When I try to click on Nvidia control panel (because Nvidia disables it due to my ATI drivers) it says there is no display attached to a Nvidia GPU.

I really do not want to use a dummy plug considering it trick it into being active, and from what I heard you loose a portion of your screen.

Any suggestions? I do not want to hear "PhysX is pointless," so on because it is oblivious to this thread. Thanks InerTia*

You shouldn't even have to bother with the Nvidia control panel for this.

Just to be sure, did you do a clean install of all the drivers?

This is what always worked for me when I had an AMD/Nvidia setup:

Uninstall all drivers and run Driver Sweeper.
Put in only the 5770 and clean install latest drivers.
Put in the 450 and clean install latest drivers (including the PhysX software of course).
After restarting, use the Hybrid mod.
May need to restart after that, then check in GPU-Z and PhysX should be checked.

Can you give me some direction on the Hybrid mod? Maybe I am using the wrong one.

Download that and install it last (after the AMD and Nvidia drivers). You just run it and it'll eventually just end with the "nothing to steal" bit like you described. After that, restart the computer and check GPU-Z for the PhysX check.
