hope that helps
Where are you getting your statistics from? I rarely see graphic designers using Mac's. Most of the ones I know use Autodesk, which is for Windows o_O

And if you check out the Apple website, won't that give you an exact price instead of a rough price?

How does it help, considering he didn't ask for any information regarding Mac's, and the G5 isn't even in production?

Sorry, I just felt like posting something like this

This is not the place to discuss OSX vs Windows or why you personally like a mac.

He got something for free, that is what you should be discussing.

...you realise you can get much more than that by buying a decent laptop right? some lenovo laptops have nearly 30 hours of battery life.
the lighter ones have around 15 hours.

7-8 isn't particularly impressive

anyways, good work on the restoration mate, free computers are always good.

You're good with fixing stuff but how did you know the blown caps were the only problem? I mean was it hard to notice?

The G5 is pretty useless The hardware in the G5 will not allow you to do anything more than brows the web, still its a great find. I wish I had your job if it had these benefits
