Metal TIM?

My PS3 slim's fan died on me and I am gonna change the TIM again too.
I heard that liquid metal TIMs are very good for cooling. Has anyone ever tried using some in a PS3? Is it safe? Thanks!

Just me, but I wouldn't want anything metal near or having a chance to get on the PCB. For the miniscule difference in temps, no I don't think it would be worth it. Especially on a PS3.
