AMD Challenge

Looking for a budget system build. I've looked at Intel 775 and not sure which route to go.

Ok so here is the goal. This build will be for a HTPC, actually 3 maybe 4 of them.

2 of the systems will need to be wireless, these will be in the bedrooms.
1 system will be in the living room.

Just a regular TV Tuner will not work, these systems will connect to a SiliconDust HDHomeRun PRIME http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16815345006

As of right now 1 system will be able to connect via a HDMI, the other 2 systems will need to connect via Analog to TV's.

So I want to keep this pretty inexpensive for now, and none of these systems will be used for gaming, just TV and movies.

Everything I seem to build is in the ballpark of about $400 each, almost wondering if 3 cheap prebuilts might be the best route to go.

Also do not forget about OS's (Win7) and MCE Remotes.

I'm in your league, I just finished configuring a whole bunch of HTPCs in my house as well though they have been average much cheaper due to better opportunities & some used item deals

OS software:
Windows 7 Home Premium x64 3-pack - $285 shipped [RoyalDiscount]
OR if you need one more... Win 7 - $96 shipped

The PC hardware (about $281 shipped each):
Athlon II x2 250 + Biostar 880G+ - $101 shipped
PNY XLR8 2x2GB DDR3-1600 CL8 - $48, $28 AR (I figure this suggestion is perfect because it is up to 3 rebates/person and you want more than 1 PC, so unlike most rebates which are 1/person they all count)
Lite-ON DVD + 2TB Samsung HDD - $93 shipped
Pixxo mATX SFF case + PSU - $28 + $11 shipping [Meritline] (note that ordering 3 of the same case at once will probably not make the shipping $33, shipping cost would be combined)

Other items:

(gets good reviews on Newegg) - $12.40 shipped each, $24.80 for two [Amazon] (click "14 new from $11.00" for $12.50 shipped price) [note that free shipping on Amazon is for orders $25 and up... adding a small filler item for $1 or so should bring that cost above $25, otherwise it is slightly under $25]
MCE remote - $23 shipped

Estimated ballpark cost for the 3 PCs: $1200, +/- $30. Right on target
And remember, you get $60 back in rebates for the RAM!

Is this okay or do I have to try harder.... except for during the Canucks game, I had lots of time today, so why not
