Slow ssd - Page 2

Raid0 improves sequencial read/writes but it won't really help boot times or program load times. You could just restore ssd's every 6 months or so, just make an image and restore windows after.Or just run them like your doing, use one for windows and the other for games and forget about it. Your numbers are not that awful but i bet you would see a performance gain after doing a restore and fresh install though.

i felt that it was pretty bad because it underperforms a hdd...in the write also its connected to the 6gb/s sata port

also if i do put my 2 ssd's in raid is there anyway to enable trim???

Your ssd's are definatley not performing great, you have to decide if their bad enough to go through all the steps it takes to fix them, your still performing better than that hdd you posted , look at the scores at the bottom.

The speed is not great. You can improve it slightly by installing latest Intel controller drivers. Intel® Rapid Storage Technology. And don't use Marvell controller. But try what mrinnocent suggested first.
