Antec Kuhler Clicking Thread

Thread Starter
So i was going through the official antec kuhler club thread and there was too many people who wanted to show off their setup and too many people asking bout problems, i wanted to centralize the infamous clicking problem antec kuhlers have so any patterns might show up

heres mine:
kuhler 920
orientation: rad hoses on the bottom
pump speed always at full speed round 3000 RPM (i cant control it)
interment clicking sounds (kinda like the hardrive clicking sound)
when i shake the rad, theres a small splashing sound (not enough water?)

okay, even though there are no volunteers, i did a bit of digging and here is a response from an antec rep regarding this issuse

"
While the system is 100% contained, there is a bit of air left in the radiator to give room for the water to expand as it heats up. Due to this, the air can create a pocket which causes turbulence and unwanted noise.

If you dismount the radiator and shake it a bit while the pump is running, this should help release the pocket and circulate the excess air through the radiator & tubing, removing the noise.

If you're certain that the noise is coming from the pump and the above method doesn't fix the issue, then this is something that is absolutely covered by your warranty."

here might be another solution by another person

"I had exactly the same issue. With the pump making exactly the same sound.
Nothing I did to the radiator made any difference, so I rotated the cooling block from sideways to right way up.
This didn't work, so I turned it completely upside down. With the plumbing coming out of the top.

Fixed. The pump is completely silent now"

I know this is an old thread but to save starting a new one. I found a fix to the clicking sound. Setup a custom fan profile my fan ramp up temp is 30 and full ramp up temp is 40. clicking is gooooone. Hope this works for others with the 920 and the clicking prob.
