Enough PSU for GTX560 Ti + 9800GT ? - Page 2

No I didn't mean that only Corsair branded PSUs are good and any other should be avoided.
By the way, In the future I may upgrade the PSU and what do you think about OCZ power supplies, especially ZX series? Since they are new on the market, there is question if they are reliable?

The high-end OCZ '80+ Gold' units are very nice, and often come up on sale at an excellent price after MIR on the 'Egg.

Most of the rest of their units are pretty 'meh', although typically are a decent value for what you pay for them.

And the 650W Corsair is more than enough for what you are proposing. You could even add another for SLI if you wanted to.

BTW ... I like how you say 'Corsair-branded', because that's exactly what they are. Corsair doesn't actually make any power supplies ... however, most of the other famous brands (Coolermaster, OCZ, Thermaltake, Antec, Silverstone, to name a few) don't either

Of the remotely 'popular' brands, these are just about the only ones who actually make most, if not all, of the units that they sell: Enermax, Seasonic, Seventeam, and Topower.

Since I was just poking around the Egg, let me just say that if anyone is getting a hankering for a PSU upgrade, this unit, at $139.99 after MIR, is just an incredible deal ... should have enough juice to run any dual GPU setup (short of perhaps heavily OC'd 480's in SLI). If I wasn't already thoroughly in love with my (Enermax-built) PSU, I'd order one of these bad-boys just because it's a sick deal on a really nice unit.
