Trying to find a new mouse that suits me - Page 2

I would recommend the Zowie EC1, Razer Death Adder, and the SteelSeries Xai.

It was an awesome mouse for about 6 months though...
Take the mouse apart then spray WD40 onto the clicking mechanism and it should fix that problem. That happened to my really old DeathAdder and that fixed it.

Xai almost has what you want. G9x is also a viable option. I can't say I'm sold on the valor for having the best sensor. The roccat kone+ is also a great mouse. The best thing that roccat has over the other mentioned mouse is that 1, it has a mouse button that can be held down that makes all mouse buttons do something else, 2, it has a button you can hold down to lower dpi (in addition to onthefly dpi changers).

Unfortunately, some mouse like the naga, mamba, rat 7 doesn't have accurate tracking.

If you want the best mouse possible for you grip you should get the puretrak valor and get a prober clothpad while you are at it

most of the people here recommend mice using the avago 9500 sensor or the philips twin eye 2032 both of which have some issues while the avago 3090 sensor in the valor is flawless

mx518: same shell of the g5, cheap, good optical sensor, weights, it has dpi buttons on the middle, and it is DURABLE. You cant go wrong.

many ppl say valor, but it isnt available yet. Wait for the first review at least.

And also, sensitivity isn't everything, I rarely go above 2400 and I still top the kill charts on C2, I even got a 17 killstreak once, with a shotgun, thats no easy feet.

Dpi isn't everything, most of the time its only real significance is e-peen, it just sounds better having a high dpi mouse then a low, but theres no reason to go high unless you can actually use it.

Buy another G5 OP. If it's still in warranty Logitech will replace it.
