15/5 on FiOS.
I get 3MB/s upload due to the fact I'm over a wireless bridge.

fios is great depending on your package deal. the smallest package is 15mb then 25 for the next and 35 for the best package. There might even be other packages that are faster if you dont get the bundle deal with phone/inet/tv

I have the 25mb package and its just damn amazing. (i used to have comcast which sucked)

Same. Had Comcast and it blows. Couldn't download things for an hour without my modem locking up.

FiOS has 15/5, 25/25, 50,20, and a 150/35 packages.
150/35 lol

I laughed so hard when I read that... I thought you were going to say something like, "but we are locked in a contract with someone else". Lol, you just don't have it.... YET.

Go get it!

I want it, but our area is run by comcast/att. I doubt verizon will ever be an option here. (I have comcast)

If you are having problems, it is not Verizon's service, but your router/modem. Use the MyVerizon thing they installed to contact the help desk.

If you are getting FIOS, do like they have said in this thread: buy your own router, have them install it into that. Their router isn't so hot.

One of my friend has FiOS (at least I think that is what she has). According to her, it is fiber optic straight to her house. She is saying that she is NOT able to hook a router up so that all of her computers can share the bandwidth. She says when one computer logs in, the others get disconnected. She talked to verizon and according to them, she will have to have a connection for each computer !!!! That is the biggest bull I ever heard ! So wondering if you guys know of anything like that or someone from Verizon is feeding her horse crap.
One another note, I got CRAPPY mediacom. I am soooo frustrated with mediacom, if this was the medieval age, I would make an army, get some nice nailed clubs, and go clobber all the mediacom worthless managers and supervisors that are worth crap. I do not blame the regular working guy. They got no choice. But mediacom is selling 10 down and 1 up for $60 ! And to top it all, they are over utilized. So at around 7 - 9pm when everyone gets home and get on the computer, it is slower than DSL - think like 2 down and 1 up.
