New Rig...Help calm down my madness.

Thread Starter
Well,I am building a new PC,i’ll use my old HDD(500+500 raid 0) and my old PSU(1000w) But i am having a hard time choosing parts. What would you choose or do you have any other suggestions.
Ohh 1 more thing.I live in Turkey so i may not be able to get some brands or models.Such as EVGA.

MSI P67A-GD80 Intel P67 (B3)
ASUS ENGTX580 DCII/2DIS/1536MD5 GTX 580
INTEL i7 2600K 3.40 GHz Quad Core
16gb 1600 mhz ram G.Skill
--------------------------------
Asus SABERTOOTH P67 (Rev 3.0)
ASUS ENGTX580 DCII/2DIS/1536MD5 GTX 580
INTEL i7 2600K 3.40 GHz Quad Core
16gb 1600 mhz ram G.Skill
--------------------------------
Asus SABERTOOTH P67 (Rev 3.0)
ASUS ENGTX580 DCII/2DIS/1536MD5 GTX 580
INTEL i7 2600K 3.40 GHz Quad Core
16gb 1600 mhz ram G.Skill
------------------------------
MSI GTX580 Lightning GDDR5
Asus SABERTOOTH P67 (Rev 3.0)/ Asus SABERTOOTH P67 (Rev 3.0)
INTEL i7 2600K 3.40 GHz Quad Core
16gb 1600 mhz ramG.Skill
-----------------------------
What would you choose from those depending on ‘’problem free parts’’ no known problems such as voltage problems build issues etc. Etc. Or would you suggest something else?Keep in mind i am on a budget.(my limit is around those parts)
I actually want an 580 and Nvidia....So pls no ATI suggestions. You may choose betewen Asus and MSI...
I am set on CPU thats what i want.Rams, ermmm sure suggest them if you like.(Dont forget the budget)But the main problem is with Brand and model of the Graphic card and Motherboard brand and model.
I dont think i’ll use SLI but its a nice thing to ‘’just have’’ maybe in future i’ll use it.It would be nice to have that. But its okay.
Thank you for at least reading it.I felt better just sharing it lol.(I am a friend of the account holder,i'll also make an account in near future.)

I can say my asus board has been great, don't know about any others.

Only other thing is 16gb of ram is too much for anyone who isn't doing heavy video editing or very heavy VM work.

First of all may I ask what powersupply will you be using?

as for the parts:
gpu: any gtx580 from either MSI or ASUS would be fine, their coolers are much better than EVGA so no worries there.
ram: 2x4gb ddr gskill for gaming 2x8 gb from gskill 1600 ddr3 if you do alot of work on pc such as editing videos or do CAD or rendering work.
cpu 2500k for gaming only 2600k for work such as video editing.
mobo: Asus or Gygabyte is fine but instead of the Sabertooth I would rather get the Asus P67 EVO for around the same price, but will probably allow you to overclock higher.

Go for a 580 lightning. The dcii takes up three slots, which means if you plan to sli in the future, you will have almost no slots left.

They overclock very similarly

Thanks for all info guys.

I scraped out the MSI motherboard...I'll go with asus. Now reading on about the models of asus.Evo seems very nice.

Also to the question about my PSU its LC POWER 1050.

And about the 16 gigs of ram i know it sounds way over the top but i tought it would help with my rendering.I study art and design...takes time to render HD short films and such.

Still trying to choose betewen MSI lighting and ASUS DC.I learned SLI wont be possible for me in its full power.Because the mobos has only 1 X16..others cut the power down when plugged in to.
