Wow. This thread just answered pretty much all my questions about wcing an 800d. Thanks everyone.

I also plan on doing the 360 in the top and 120 at the back. If I got the thicker rx radiators for both, would I still be able to fit push pull fans on the 120? It looks like they would hit in the corner. Also, would it be beneficial to make the rear an intake with this setup?

Yes, rear and bottom are intake. Will need to get a dust filter for them. I plan on getting 140mm magnetic filters so I can just pull off to clean.

I plan on using XSPC rx rads. I will however be measuring it all up on the case before buying. I am using shrouds as well.

Heres a TON of them:

Deff keep us posted how it works out. To be honest, it looks like a rs rad with one fan is all that would fit, but again I'm only going by pictures.

hey guys, do you think a

http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/cust...-pid-9991.html

with one of the following mounted on top:

http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/cust...-pid-8474.html

http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/cust...pid-11183.html

http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/cust...pid-12087.html

http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/cust...pid-12361.html

(whats the actual difference between? which one would you say is the best?)

plus one of these at the bottom:

http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/cust...-pid-4002.html

http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/cust...pid-12359.html

http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/cust...-pid-7874.html

is necessary for a high to very high oc on my 2600k, talking 5.4ghz+ and 2x6990 oced to 960+/1500?

or would one of these on top:

http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/cust...pid-12360.html

http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/cust...-pid-7875.html

http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/cust...-pid-4006.html

and then one of these on the bottom and one on the back be enough?:

http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/cust...pid-11859.html

http://specialtech.co.uk/spshop/cust...pid-11857.html

Im gone use one of these cpu blocks (again which one would be the best?):

http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/...pid-11725.html

http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/...pid-10477.html

http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/...pid-13296.html

http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/...pid-11436.html

for the gpus ill go with this block, unless there is something better you think I could get?:

http://www.specialtech.co.uk/spshop/...3481.html#tabs

what are your thought gents?

im prity sure that there is not enough clearance for that and that the 360 in the top and the 120 on the back would hit at the corner... will someone please confirm this?

too many links ... lol... jk... a single 480 and a 240, may actualy not be enough for the clocks that you want without some prity high CFM fans... im not very knowledgeable on the topic of witch specific rads preform better, so i will leave this up to someone else... however, i will comment on the water blocks... definately get the full copper EK HF supreme, and i would look for a full copper EK block for your 6990s... if you cant find one that Koolance should serve you just fine... just make sure to stay away from EK nickel plated products

EDIT:
this link may help with the rad choice, but idk if it will help you for sure or not
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...light=radiator

EDIT 2:
im prity sure that you need two of those pumps for that res... also, a lot of people have trouble fitting that res into an 800d because of the guidance groves on the 800d causing it to get hung up... i would look that up before you get anything

there is two of those pumps in there im planing to get a dual loop one for the cpu, second for the gpus. What about a 360 at the bottom and a 360 on top? any one tried this before?

i dont think you can get a 360 in the bottom... you would probably be better off taking out the HDD cage and putting in double stacked 240s... as for the 2 loops, there is a difference between 1 loop, vs 2... i know of a link... ill post it when i find it

EDIT: here is the link
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=254683

use a single loop because im assuming you are not going from total extreme overclocks and you dont want all that extra tubing hanging around

Dual loop?

360 at top is silly if you put a 360 at the bottom. It's like walking 500ft barefoot, THEN putting on your shoes to walk another 500ft. 360 at the bottom means you have to run a very short psu, which "typically" will not be able to support quad cards and be limited in wattage.

ive got the AX1200. so what 2x240 at the bottom and a 360 or 480 on top? is there any one who has 2x6990 and an i7 on water around? i was thinking about taking out the bottom hdd cage and cutting out two bottom slots out of the hot swapable cage (only use 2 hdds) and sticking a 360 rad vertically there that would cool the gpus - thats one loop, second loop would be to the 360 under the top and to the cpu.
