no mechanical drive can get higher than 5.9, you need an ssd for that. BTW I wouldn't trust wei, its pretty crap.

Buy a faster hard drive- or another one and use it in Raid 0

To get above 5.9 you will probably need an SSD, but raid 0 with two fast drives MIGHT be enough...

Why do you want a score? Is it actually fast enough for you? In that case, ignore it. 5.9 is basically the limit for mechanical drives on that benchmark.

WEI is really really silly.

I've seen a few V-raptors in RAID 0 score a 6.1, but WEI is such a silly benchmark.

Not necessary. My M4, (just one of them) scores a 7.9 on WEI. Ignore my graphics scores, I'm on my backup card atm.

I'm pretty sure that any of the 400+ Mb/s read drives will score the same.

I have 3 500gb Western Digital Caviar Black drives in RAID 0 and WEI only gives me 5.9... I think microsoft is lying to us all on our scores...
