I am in the choice between a Qpad 5K and a Steelseries Xai

They are both going to be used with a Qpad HeatoN XL
or if any other hard mousepad fits better ...

Help me choose please

If you tend to fingertip or clawing your mouse - go with Xai,
if your tend to plam - 5k.

The performances will be the same since both of the mice use the same identical laser sensor (ADNS-9500).

about surface-I have really great exp. with my 9HD, I can recommended you it and be sure you will like it.
But in my opinion surfaces is more personal..friction, slippery, metrials, comfort and such things, your current surface is really good, I dont see any reason to change it / by other one, only if you not Satisfied.

Thanks avinin

I intend to fingertip a lot and i have devolved a dislike for my Roccat Kone +
(the scroll whell sucks, comfort is not me, the surface is starting to peel of)
Anyway i want the best mouse ... and now best mouse af a fingertip gripper?
Going with the XAI, but is there anything else i should considerate.

the xai is a very high quality mouse. very solid build and its ambidextrous if that matters to you. i have a xai but i do not use it since i just cant stand mice that aren't ergonomic.

i highly recommend the xai though. the only downside i can tell you about the mouse is the feet. they are okay, but not the best. you could always grab some replacement feet like hyperglides.

i have never heard of the 5k so i cant comment on it. qpad is a great company though
