I never said I was a fanboy. What the hell is your problem? Might wanna go back a few posts and you'll see I'm a loyal Gigabyte user up till this boot cycling problem occurred. You are frustrated and agitated for some irrational reason. If you have nothing constructive to contribute towards a solution, please refrain from making any further comments. If you're not part of the solution, you're just part of the problem.

I've always understood clearly but you should at least consider trying memory from the correct QVL.

Here's the interesting part, Gigabyte actually released a BIOS update (ver. F3) for H67MA-USB3-B3 that I recently built for a client and it specifically states "1. Solve press reset button cause system abnormal".

This board (H67MA-USB3-B3) has turned on and off at least a dozen times the past 2 weeks. I called the owner and he never encountered a boot loop problem.

That board came with F1 BIOS and initially had the boot cycling problem until I updated it to F3, boot cycling was gone.

I'm suspecting that Gigabyte is neglecting/forgetting to update their other boards with BIOS updates for this problem up the line.

Purchased the Z68XP-UD4 (yes, the XP version, not X) a few days ago from newegg and mine came with the F1 bios (release date sometime in May). I backed it up before upgrading to F2. I doubt it would solve any issues for you but I could upload it somewhere if you'd like to give it a try. Just let me know

Thank you very much for your offer. I reached my RMA grace period last Friday therefore I had to return the board before my RMA expired. I'm sure someone else in the future will have use for your BIOS.

Dude i never called you an ASUS fanboy, i was explaining my frustration by telling you i was tired of the ASUS fabnboys. you bought 7 GB boards you are most likely not an Asus fanboy lol. I am tired of turrican coming in here.

And no i actually do my best to help, and keep my cool.

I have a question, what is the oldest GB P67 board you currently have that you can test out?

First of all, I am no ASUS Fanboy.

Second Of all, I have a Gigabyte board and have helped people with the Boot-Cycle-loop problem, in this thread.

Thirdly, I wonder If you infact are a real Gigabyte Fanboy wink.gif If not you would probably not get so 'hurt' for nothing wink.gif

Here's the timeline:

1) Client orders two P67A-UD3R, boot loop on one board, Intel announces recall.

2) Client exchanges for B3 revision of same board, both boards exhibit boot loop problems.

3) Client returns both P67A-UD3R-B3 and upgrades to Z68XP-UD4 hoping that a higher model will not exhibit boot loop problems....this has to be bad luck.

4) Me and client is fed up with BS and exchanges both Z68XP-UD4 for Asus P8Z68-V PRO. Me likes fancy Asus UEFI GUI.

5) Me and client is happy, no more boot loop. I get paid for remainder of work and decides to blow the money earned on expensive sushi dinner with girlfriend because me believes money from this client is bad luck.

6) Total of 6 boards all from one client, do not know where you got 7. No more P67 Gigabyte boards. Most recent builds, two Gigabyte H67MA-USB3-B3, no boot loop problem after BIOS update (F3).

End of story.
