Corsair H100, XSPC RX360 Rasa kit, or custom WC? - Page 2

consider the rasa kits as a custom loop as its made of parts that were created for that. selling them as a kit its just better idea. cheaper for us, and bigger sales (bigger profit) for xspc.

Guess I should go for the Rasa RX360 kit then. Much cheaper than other WC kits out there. Probably add some fans and tubing as well. Does it come with instructions on how to install and use them in a PC?

I have the Rasa RX360. It does the job really good. The tubing and fans are pretty bad, though. I'll add my vote to the guy that said replace them. They didn't last a week once I got my kit.

Although I agree that the Rasa is a great kit, people should note that the H100 isn't actually out yet, and so it might offer decent performance/price.

How much for a fully custom WC kit that is similar to the Rasa, but with better components like fans, tubing, etc. ? I know the RX360 is a good rad anyway with low speed fans and would like my rig to be quieter.

its like a + price of laing pump, top for it and res. fans should include to the price of rasa kit. this will be a lot more. note that the pum/res combo from rasa kit is very good.

If you did a full custom loop, you'd be buying almost everything from the kit, sans the pump/res combo and it'd cost you a lot more to improve upon the kit. The cpu block and the rx360 rad are already at the top end of available parts. Getting better than those 2 is splitting hairs, percentages of degree delta differences.

This is OCN and we tend to go to some extremes for PC components. Guess I'll get some better tubing and 6 GT AP-15 fans then. Read about pump/res combo dying and get a free replacement from XSPC, which is excellent. Not like EK giving people the run-around for nickel-plating peeling off their waterblocks (Their WC kits are at least 100 USD more than XSPC kits).
