*Pic* My PCU under load...does this seem right?

Thread Starter
Sorry if this is a stupid question - I am still new, ha.

I am trying to put my PC under 'load' to see how it handles.

I am currently running:
Adobe Lightroom
Pandora Radio
Downloading about 18gb of images
Browsing internet..

See my gadgets in the screenshot..

I took another screenshot about 20 seconds later and it calmed down. I understand it will spike up here and there...but hmm..

Does this seem right?

I don't see anything out of the ordinary aside from fairly high idle and load temp's you have. OC on a stock cooler?

Your cpu volts are a bit high(1.475v) for stock clocks. Is it on auto?
In the second pic C&Q has kicked in,that's why the temps are lower.

Not overclocked.

The volts have backed back down.

This is where I have questions...I noticed the cpu bounces around from .8ghz to 2.2 up to 3.4ghz max. I know this is normal but is there anyway to change it from auto flunctuating?

Since the first pic, I still have everything running except one upload and it is very stable like the second pic.

Turn off all the power saver stuff in the BIOS and it should stay constant volts / cpu speeds. BTW, nice picture. (In lightroom)

Set voltage to 1.25v if at stock, it can handle it.

Cool'n'quiet downclocks the processor when it is not being used. This is perfectly normal. When the full speed of the processor is required, it should increase the clock immediately.
It can be disabled, but there's really no need to.
