Will the fractal R3 fit the Coolit C2450?

Currently have an i72600K with a coolit c240 water cooler in a HAF 922. I am considering buying the Fractal design R3 however from pictures i've seen it doesn't look like it would fit a 240mm rad (inc 2 fans) along the roof. Does anyone know for sure if it would?

If not would the fractal design XL fit the coolit c240?

Yes it will fit a C240 with 2 fans.

stick to your 922 and add dumping foam to it.

fractal r3 dont have enough space under the top. there is something like ~40mm, and worst thing is that it have wrong fan spacing for 120mm holes. it should have 15mm while it have 35mm.

^so your saying you don't think it will fit?

Appleg why is it you think it will fit?

I'd like to get the r3 if i could because i much prefer the look of it and the 922 is quite a lot bigger than i'd like.

rad + fan is more then 50mm, no way that it will fit there without hitting the mobo.

as for fractal xl. its size of 932, so its even bigger. if you want smaller case, grab a 692, it has a radiators support (right fan sacing) and its much smaller then 922. there are also some new corsair cases that will be comming in a month or max two (carbide series) that will easly take that 240 rad.

^See now that sounds very believable, so why do so many people seem to think that the Fractal R3 can house a 240mm rad?

Only thing is I really like the look and the design build of the fractal cases. Damn wish I had gotten a smaller rad cooler. Got any idea where I could get sound dampening material from in the UK? A bit hard to find over here it seems.

the front 3.5 bays going out, and 240 rad goes there but under the top? no way. maybe with fans outside of case. but then you would need to modificate fan holes.
