I think I fried (mmmm...fried) my ASUS GTX 480

So here's the story:

Seeing as how cheap (relatively) GTX 480's are now-a-days I decided to get myself another for SLI frames per second goodness. As with the EVGA one I already have I wanted to get the Zalman cooler to keep temps in check as well as noise. So I purchased the card and cooler, installed everything just fine and was running everything without a hiccup for a few days. Dragon Age 2 was getting around 90fps for example. Then as I was running Heaven 2.5 I noticed that the Asus card stopped working; I was getting horizontal lines which were not being rendered. I pulled the Asus card and installed it in the primary PCI-E lane and sure enough, no video output. When both cards are in SLI the Asus card is not even recognized in the drivers.

So, to get to the matter. What should I try to get it working again? Should I re-install the Zalman heat sink? Should I re-install the OEM heatsink?

I don't think I can RMA since I installed an aftermarket cooler, or can I?

Or should I just bite the bullet and get myself another 480? I can get one right now for about $200CAD?

Thoughts? Suggestions? Everything but smart a*s comments will be greatly appreciated

Reinstall stock cooler, RMA.

I highly doubt that you will have a denied RMA due to installing a new cooler. I remember MSIAlex (pretty sure GPU companies have similar policies) stating that a TIM replacement (whcih requires taking off the heatsink) would not cause a denied RMA, so I don't see why ASUS would do so either.
