All wireless mice have terrible battery life. Personally, Cyborg Rat 9 is the best that I have used. But it is plagued by laser issues.

yeahh its somewhat expected, my battery life has dropped down to less then an hour and a new batt costs about $20 so though i might as well get a new mouse since i cant send it in (no receipt).

Hmm i heard that mouse was popular, hows the build quality? i noticed its made by mad catz and some the console gaming stuff seemed pretty cheap when i was younger >_< but im guessing thats changed?

Mamba, G700, Pyra, RAT 9 - thats pretty much all the notable "gaming mice" out in the market.

I've tried the Mamba and G700 and am currently using the G700 because it has tons of little things that makes it superior to the Mamba - such as longer battery life, more comfortable (for me), better scrollwheel and various other little things that I can pick at.

There also appears to be a new revision of the G700 that resolved the issue of the coating flaking, while it might be difficult to pick out which revision it is, just a heads up to anyone who is interested in picking one up.

Microsoft sidewinder x8. I have one and love it.

This guy is dead wrong. Unless you think going for a over a day (minimum, I've gone for well over that) is terrible batter life. Plus you can charge the x8 while still playing.

G700 is crap IMO. I'd go with the Sidewinder X8. Newegg had them for $39 a week ago, but even at $59 they're unbeatable at that price.

Contact Razer. I complained about the bad battery/squeaky wheel in mine, and they just sent me a new mouse, with no need to send back my old one. So now I have two batteries too, which is convenient.
