XSPC Pump/Res Combo Died, Need Advice

Thread Starter
My Pump/res combo died a few months ago and I havent replaced it yet. I dont know if I should replace it with another or if i should do something new. I was thinking of the Koolance 980K Combo with the readouts to go a little flashy. Or should I go with something else.

Also, can I disassemble to res and replace just the pump.

My loop is CPU only, i7 970.
Was at 4.33ghz without a problem.

Mine died out on me yesterday when I was at work. I emailed XSPC this morning and they replied within a few hours, on a weekend! They're going to send me out a new free replacement. XSPC customer service is awesome.

My one died on me too. Emailed XSPC and the requested an invoice on where I bought. I just emailed them a copy. Withing a couple of days they sent me a new one for free! I didn't have to send back the dead one. Great customer service IMHO.

take the res apart and remove the bad pump. Plug the pump cable hole with a screw in type plug, and use the pumps fitting with a proper nut as a return line. use the lower hole as the output line, and add in a pump into your loop. Seal the res with some silicone, like engine silicone so it does not leak. Thats what Im doing with my bro's old res that he gave me(same res). Itll work great tho.
