UV light recommendation?

Hey, I was wondering if you guys could recommend me some Bright UV lights. I am planning on using them on my new watercooling build. I will be using UV red tubing if that makes a difference.

UV lights only come in Purple (well, Violet, UV stands for Ultraviolet) however, if you're talking about Cold Cathodes there's only really a couple brands you can look at other than store branded or value ones.

Sharkoon is the one that springs to mind.

Yes, I was talking about cold cathodes. Sorry for the confusion. I know there is only the one color. I was wondering pretty much which is the brightest.

Thanks for the response

Take a look at these,

http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b...ecs%2FWFLS.htm

They have them in UV. I have a strip and its enough to light up the entire inside of my case and looks alot better that cold cathodes.

By any chance do you have a picture you could provide? I was also looking to do a UV CCFL in my case. Was just going to buy four 12'' cathodes for the case. Since I'd also have some green led fans in there.
If these happen to work better, I'll just buy this instead.

It's sort of hard to get a "bright" UV light, it's UV after all. The ones that I use in my case are these: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...roducts_id=421

They are as bright as UV lights come, and it really helps to have UV reactive tubing. I have two, but if you buy four your whole case will definitely be lit up.

Cold Cathode > LED , imo.

Lol, it's UV light...it really doesn't make a difference if it's "brighter" or not. Rather you're going to want even coverage of your entire case by having multiple CCFLs placed in areas where it can light your entire case. You would need at most 3-4, you can get by with 2.

I always by the cheap Logisys cathodes. They are cheap, but still work nicely.

Ok, Just to clarify, by brighter I mean what will make my tubing glow the brightest. Not the light. I would optimally want the lowest brightness uv lights but that makes the tubing very bright.

Hope that isnt too confusing

That is dependent on the quality of the UV coating on the tubing, not the light.
