Best 120hz Monitor? - Page 4

Thanks for all discussing on this topic of 120hz vs. 60 hz. But as one poster did mention, 120hz is slightly better but the only big difference is when spinning and such.

But IMO, I think just go all out with your system, make it have jaws drop such megan fox.. lets not get carried away.

Anyways, I'm rattled by these figures: http://www.tomsguide.com/us/3D-Monit...view-1506.html

If it is too long to read, the Alienware Optx vs. the Acer GD235HZbid. The Acer is slightly outclassed, but at what cost? A mere 150 dollars.

Me, I am getting back at my summer job and going to build a rig on my own (had IBUYPOWER) build 1 for me, and it seemed to not be too worth it seeing as it isnt as hard as it seems to build a rig for youself, vs. a company (+ their expenses).

In short, I'm going to HAVE to go with the Acer GD235HZ: http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...20hz%20monitor
seeing as it is on sale for 150 dollars cheaper than this Alienware OpTx.

But concluding my questions, Would an AMD 6990 look better on the ACER or the Alienware monitor? Fire some replies!

Ciao!

Aswell, I've read precauctions and even gone into stores and tried out 3-D products, and in my opinion, I really think 2'D is ALOT better, Your eyes get sore real fast with 3-d (prob about 2hrs of hardcore gaming) and 2-D well, you can go for along time Lol.

But 120hz seems like a thing to try

The eye fatigue adjusting to 3D wore off after a few days. Feels really weird though doesn't it?

The Acer should treat you well. It's quite popular.
