Cooling Solution for TT Armor A30 + amd x6 1100T

Hey guys I'm new to the board here, what I am working on is a SFF build using the Thermaltake Armor a30 case and the AMD Phenom II x6 1100T processor. I am not really into the gaming scene at all but I do like to have a lot of processing power for compilations (work with a lot of software developing) and what not. It is quiet hard finding a solution for overclocking inside this case without having to go with external water cooling. I have no preference over liquid cooling or air cooling, just the one that performs best and fits. The max heatsink+fan height can not exceed 90mm inside the case. So I am reaching out to you guys to give me your thoughts on the best solution for keeping the system cool with the x6 overclocked to no more than 4.0ghz. Also, I'm not as concerned about noise as I am cooling performance. The case has the following fan dimensions/locations: 1 x 230mm Exhaust on top of case, 1 x 90mm front intake, 2x60mm rear Exhaust.. So I don't really have any places inside to mount a 120MM radiator + fan. I'm limited a bit with this case, but I like the size and the way it looks a lot, but for the most part I like a challenging project that i can enjoy for years to come!! Thanks in advance!

try to get your hands on one of these "Asetek 545LC"

http://www.asetek.com/press-room/new...92mm-fans.html

It's watercooling with a 92mm fan. Good luck finding one.

Hey there,

Just wanted to drop in and mention that although our 545LC isn't available in the US via retail channels, shoot an email to questions@asetek.com and I might be able to hook you up with one.

Wish you would have let me known this earlier I just ordered a Cooler Master GeminII S heatsink this morning. If it don't work as it is suppose to I will definitely consider the 545LC. Thanks for you insight bud!

Ahh I just now seen that the reference you gave is a water cooling unit, I think Air is a better solution at this time due to my motherboard only having 4+1 power phase with unheatsinked mosfets. I picked up 2 sets of the enzotech mos-c1 (10packs) to cover the VRM/Mosfet area. My idea was to keep this cool with the GeminII S cpu + board cooler.. From the reviews I have read it seems very effective. I got the 1100T processor and hopefully it won't require as much over voltage to run at 4ghz as the opposed 1090T will. I will cross my fingers on this one!
