Valor seems more like a palm-grip mouse, but so is the DeathAdder and MX518. Yet I still use claw grip on those two. You might want to check out the CM Spawn. I believe that is a claw-grip mouse.

I prefer the Logitech G9x. Has two different actual grips as well. The 5700 DPI is rather nice, as well as the on-the-fly profile switching.

You never answered my question in the other thread. How do you get by with only 3 DPI settings? I could see if you could change them, but they are set, rock solid in stone.

For games like BC2 where you could lower DPI to snipe, or raise DPI when in a tank or other vehicle.. I can't see that as being a good thing of only have 3 choices. What if the next fastest or slowest choice isn't to your liking?

I was looking at the CM Spawn but that just put me off completely.

Without the slightest doubt, cm storm spawn

g9x has 4-5% acceleration, Doesn't work well on softpads, is heavy, scrollwheel almost impossible to click and is uncomfortable for the ring finger and pinky

the deathadder is not a clawgrip as its heavy, big and force you into a palmgrip

cm storm spawn has a perfect shape and the most perfect sensor ever created

I thought you were being sarcastic.

I want to start by saying that the mouse feel in BFBC2 screams console port. So that game wasn't worth my time.

Anyway, lowering your cpi to snipe is a silly idea because a) when you zoom in you're lowering your FOV. the last thing you want to do when you lower your FOV is lower your cpi as well. b) it's hard enough to develop muscle memory for one sensitivity, and when you change your sensitivity to snipe, you force yourself to learn two!

If you find that you have to lower it. you're probably using a sensitivity that's too high to begin with.

Crysis Wars had tanks and a good mouse feel. I played that game. I never had to change my cpi to use a tank unless I was using a bad cpi value to begin with (something that wasn't around 800-1000cpi.)

So you're saying that in EVERY game you've played, you've been 100% satisfied with only being given the choice of 800, 1600, and 3200 dpi, or w/e the numbers are? You've never ONCE said, I wish I could use 1100 dpi, or 2200 dpi?

Some games don't have the best in game sensitivity settings, and you can only make fixes to that by changing DPI settings.
