Some games don't have the best in game sensitivity settings, and you can only make fixes to that by changing DPI settings.

No you can fix it by having the same resolution in all games. I can honestly say I won't need more than the 800dpi and 1800dpi settings that I have in my cm storm spawn

In any case, its much more important to have a stable sensor that don't have acceleration, a high LOD and lose tracking on softpads. I challenge anyone to try the avago 3090 and then say they don't prefer it over sensors like the avago 9500, even with "only" 3 dpi choices

Yes. I only need one.

You trolling me? Or stalking? Either way, it's not productive to the discussion at all. I asked a simple question because I want to know, as I said I was interested in the mouse myself.

There is no reason to act like a tool.

Sorry if I come of as a tool, but the sensor is the most important thing after comfort when choosing a gaming mouse. And I really can't remember coming across any serious competitive game without someway of changing your sensitivity

No harm done.

It's just that I was interested in the CM Spawn myself, but when I saw that the DPI was permanently set, I didn't like the idea.

I wanted to get someone's opinion that owns it, because it's a fairly new mouse and not many own it.

There are a few games where DPI switching is somewhat necessary. The only one that comes to mind is BC2, which I listed the reasons above. If you hop in a tank with the same DPI/sensitivity setting you use for normal play, you will be severely handicapped as the turret moves way too slow otherwise. Messing with the .ini settings doesn't do much to fix it either. I just hope BF3 doesn't have the same issues.

Off topic: BF2 allowed you to set different sensitivity for every single vehicle available. I'm sure BF3 will have the same option.
