hey guys...had some issues with my mobo, had it replaced under warrenty. Eversince my core temps have been 5-10C hotter.

Could this be that when they replaced my mobo they never re-applied thermal paste?

Is it worth me taking apart, cleaning, and re-applying thermal paste?

Idle temps 40C

100%load temps(Intel burn test on very high) always under 65C

Thanks, blood.

i mean, couldnt hurt to check and reapply some new thermal paste, something like AS5 or IC7

rmbr, to put a dot the size of a pea in the middle of the cpu so when you put on the block , it will spread from the center, minimizing air bubblea

yah i was looking at videos of how to do it, do you think id be able to do it with out removing the mobo? by just unbolting the cooler, cleaning, reapplying, and then locking it back down?
