New guy here.

Hey all. Just stumbled upon this great forum.

Brief history:

I've built three PCs rigs so far. My first one was in 2003 and needed a new PC. Didn't want a Dell so I decided to risk it and build one for myself for under $450.

Compared to today's parts, it's pretty pathetic and weak:

ECS AMD Motherboard
AMD Sempron 64X 1.1 ghz.
80GB HD
512mb SDRAM
GeForce 4 MX440 GPU
220 watt PSU

Still works to this day with little upgrades (another hard drive). I liked what I saw so I've been building ever since. Of course, my new rig eats up my old one for a snack.

That is, until my third year in college, I needed a laptop for my major, so I gave in and got a Dell E1702. It decided to suicide itself a year later and I decided to build a desktop for myself.

Profession:
I'm a graphic designer/packaging designer/photographer/artist by profession

Hobbies:
Drawing cars, building car models, building custom computers, basketball, photography, tennis, modifying cars.

Well, I'm hoping to learn more about building computers so hoping to know the people here. =)

nice specs Thing is about building computers they allways seem to last longer then oem ones mainly because they are built better with better parts. But also because if something goes wrong we know how to fix them instead of ripping them to shreds to dignose them
